1255 Marlborough St. Philadelphia, PA 19125
1424 South St. coming in December!
Tastings: We offer tastings to go in cupcake form. We offer 4 samples on us and charge $2/pairing beyond the first 4. For flavor options please see out custom order menu tab.
Average cost: We generally offer simplistic buttercream style wedding cakes with minimal decorations. Our average per-serving cost is $3-5/serving. This is significantly lower than other boutique shops without sacrificing quality. We make this work by suggesting alternative decorations like fresh or faux flowers and a simpler buttercream finish. Examples can be seen in our portfolio.
Delivery: We do not offer delivery. Our budget-friendly approach is frill-free. If you are having a wedding within Philadelphia (River to river, Stadiums to Erie) we are happy to figure out delivery for $150 cash, due one week before the delivery in cash. Center city $200 (South St to Fairmount).
How early: the cake is typically the last decision you'll be making when planning a wedding. We don't work more than 1 year out. Our average wedding client is 3-6 months out.
About the process: please email, call or stop by to start your inquiry. We will want to know the date, desired servings, cake flavors, design style and budget. Typically, we set up a tasting with one weeks notice first. Once a flavor is decided we set up an invoice. As details are finalized, the invoice becomes more complete. A 50% deposit is due one week before pick up with the balance due at pick up. We suggest placing a deposit as soon as you feel committed as it is what holds your place. We have limited space and often book out weeks in advance during wedding season.
Deposits: They hold your place and are refundable up until 1 week before your event, in full. To get a full refund we need 7 full days notice. This means if you have a Saturday order, we need to know by the Friday, one week prior, before closing at 9pm. Any cancellations after 7 full days, but more than 3 days will allow you to receive the deposit as store credit.
